Martin King is from Youngstown, Ohio. He's an athlete who played fullback during his football days. He has a management degree. Mr. King has been in the business since 2007 and he started his American Family Insurance branch in July of 2012. His experience in banking and management prepared him to run his own successful business. Being a loan officer and the love of numbers made him good at banking; but it was his experience as a manager at Red Lobster that helped develop his interpersonal skills and gave him a good feel for managing people. He encourages others to start banking young, maintain their credit and keep out of debt. During our conversation Mr. King mentioned the phrase "Wealth In A Box." He began explaining that life insurance is the only way to provide generational wealth. He talked about building relationships with his customers and employees. We discussed the importance of having life insurance and how many families feel the pain from not having coverage for final expenses. It really is important to have everyone to have a policy.  Zig Ziglar once said “If people like you they'll listen to you, but if they trust you they'll do business with you.” Good business is all about trust! Mr. King has also been a Real Estate Broker for 7 years.
